Looking after the future of the Green and Golden Bell Frogs

02 May 2023

The endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog has lost over 90% of their original range with only a few populations left scattered along the east coast of Australia.

Sydney Olympic Park has been successfully managing one of the largest populations remaining for almost 30 years – the perfect spot for a bell frog workshop.

Saving Our Species Green and Golden Bell Frog workshop

Funded by the NSW Government Saving Our Species program, the 6th annual workshop was held at the Park in March. Led by industry leaders, this workshop set the stage to share current research and discuss practical tools for bell frog habitat design, management, and conservation.

The workshop provided a learning opportunity for all involved. It facilitated the bringing together of diverse knowledge and passionate people, all working together under the objective of securing the future of the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog.

Sydney Olympic Park Authority would like to thank everyone that contributed to this spectacular event!
