Travelling for a major event?
If you are travelling to the Park for a major event, we recommend using public transport or carpooling with friends. You can plan your trip by visiting Transport NSW for more information and alerts for any upcoming trackwork or extra services for events.
Not all events include free transportation to the Park, please check in advance with the venue, event promoter or on transportnsw.info.
Transport options
Car
The Park is signposted from the:
- M4, Hill Rd, Silverwater Road (from the West)
- Victoria Road, Homebush Bay Drive (from the North)
- M4, Parramatta Road & Homebush Bay Drive (from the East)

Parking
If you do drive to the Park, it is highly recommended to pre-book parking before your visit. The pre-book parking system closes at 11:59 pm the day before an event.

Train
Olympic Park station is on the T7 line – Olympic Park.
Change at Lidcombe station for services leaving every 10 minutes.
During large events, additional services may be in operation. Visit Transport NSW for more information.

- Central – 30 minutes
- Parramatta – 18 minutes
Bus
The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Burwood and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Strathfield, Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

Ferry
The closest wharf to the precinct is Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf which is around a 40 minute walk (3.6km). There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue.
