Cathy Freeman Park
Delicious cuisine from across the African continent, fashion prints, interactive cultural workshops and A-list performers is what you can expect for the Africultures festival this year.
The festival is returning to Cathy Freeman Park at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 28 September with a jam-packed program including food, art, music, and dance.
The festival is an important cultural event which celebrates the diversity of African culture, food, and talent across the community.
It is an opportunity to get a feel of Africa in Australia – from our innovative small businesses which feature as fashion, jewelry and artisanal market stalls, to performers across both modern and traditional vocals, dance and poetry, to an array of cuisines stretching from East, West, North and Southern Africa.
