The Haslams Pump Track offers an inclusive all-ages, all-wheels thrill ride to the heart of Sydney Olympic Park!
This December, the highly anticipated Haslams Pump Track is open to the public. This community dynamic facility, nestled within Sydney Olympic Park’s evolving action-adventure precinct, is set to become the ultimate destination for thrill-seekers and families alike.
Designed by landscape architects and bike enthusiasts at Common Ground, the Haslams Pump Track features three separate circuits tailored for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Bikes, skateboards, adaptive bikes, roller skates, scooters and purpose-built wheelchairs are all welcome here making the track accessible and exhilarating for all ages, rides and abilities. It sits alongside additional thrill seeker surfing venue URBNSURF which opened earlier this year and is surrounded by 35kms of bike tracks.
Haslams Pump Track is just one of the many facilities Sydney Olympic Park Authority is delivering in its commitment to transform the Sydney Olympic Park from an iconic sports and event precincts into a thriving suburb for locals and visitors alike.
The Haslams Pump Track is a great example of new community assets being delivered through Sydney Olympic Park's Master Plan 2050, which envisions creating world-class recreational facilities that promote active lifestyles and inclusive community spaces while transforming the precinct into a vibrant, liveable suburb.
Situated on beautiful Wangal Country, the pump track offers more than just an adrenaline rush; it’s a vibrant community hub surrounded by lush parkland recreational spaces, lots of parking, future public transport links and a café just a short walk away.
Funded by the NSW Government’s Places to Play program, this project is part of Sydney Olympic Park Authority’s commitment to expanding community access to adventure spaces.
Before construction, the Authority held a series of workshops with community organisations, parents, riders, and residents to design a space that reflects their vision for a safe, accessible and eco-friendly recreational area where people can gather, play and recharge.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority CEO – Carla Armanet

Donna Davis MP, Member for Parramatta.
"It's fully sick to see this unique pump track open to the public – offering something for everyone. Sydney Olympic Park has delivered a fantastic free and accessible activity for all ages and all abilities, just in time for the school holidays. Coupled with the BMX track and skatepark, Sydney Olympic Park is a premier destination for riding enthusiasts, families, and kids of all ages”.
